After the release of 2016 album 'The Prelude Implicit,' Kansas embarked on an expansive and ongoing North American theater tour. The tour celebrated the band's new lineup, the new album and the 40th anniversary of multi-platinum album 'Leftoverture'

In November 2017, the band and InsideOut commemorated this tour with the release of 'Leftoverture Live & Beyond', a two-hour, 19-song extravaganza Produced by Jeff Glixman, 'Leftoverture Live & Beyond' was recorded in 12 different US cities, and contains absolutely no overdubs!

Features the entire 'Leftoverture' album from 1976 played in its entirety by the dynamic new Kansas lineup, as well as several songs from 2016's 'The Prelude Implicit' and various deep tracks from the band's '70s era.

Fantastic album! I heard the opening track on a compilation album and knew I had to check out the full release. This really fills a Peter Gabriel era Genesis shaped hole in my life but there’s nothing derivative about it. Very classic prog sound that still sounds new and unique. kevinfroleiks
